Episode 110 | Bristol Ivy – Knitting Outside the Box

In this episode I’ll talk to Bristol Ivy about her new book, Knitting Outside the Box. We’ll talk about British TV, disrupting the pedantry of the knitting world, and the importance of being kind to yourself. The whole episode will be dedicated to this conversation with Bristol.

Show Notes:

If you’re new to the podcast, welcome! I hope you enjoy listening and that you’ll subscribe if you do. This episode is a little different than the standard format. Normally I talk to a yarn producer and then speak to a fiber expert about a breed of sheep or a spinning technique or the like. But when I talk to an author about their book, we take the whole episode just talking to one person. As a publisher myself, the intricacies of books and book publishing are fascinating. Don’t worry if that’s not your bag, we don’t spend the entire interview just talking about the publishing process.

If you’re a regular listener, please consider sharing the podcast with a friend, or leaving a review in any of the many places where podcasts can be found. You can review it in iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play, Facebook, or wherever. Reviews really help to bring the podcast up in the search rankings.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this interview, or on the podcast in general. I feel like I’ve basically been working in a vacuum just hoping that you all are enjoying this. I’d love to get some feedback. Positive, negative, or anywhere in between. What has been your favorite episode so far? Who would you like to hear from in the future?
